PDO THREADS Treatments We Offer

PDO threads also known as Polydioxanone is a reabsorbable synthetic suture that can be used to stretch, reposition and recondition areas of the skin that is lacking collagen and elastin production. It can be used to create lift in areas of the face such as the cheeks, double chin, brows and nose.
Once the threads start to dissolve, it will allow the area where the thread was placed to stimulate its own collagen giving the area a natural rejuvenation. Results can be seen immediately but best results are seen at the 2-3 month mark and can last up to 18 months. Local anaesthetic will be applied prior.​

They do not create lift however are great for small areas that lack skin rejuvenation such as under the eyes, around the crow’s feet or for the lips as a trial for those who don’t want to go with filler just yet. Topical anaesthetic will be applied prior.
